Also provide comprehensive legal advice to the Chinese company spanning the entire breadth of its business interests in Pakistan, from procurement to project execution and enforcement of its contractual and other rights.
  • Prepare share purchase, asset purchase and escrow agreements. Conduct legal due diligence review in respect of mergers, acquisitions and spin offs.
  • Draft, review and advise on Islamic finance instruments, including cost plus financing, Islamic leasing etc.
  • Advise clients on general corporate matters including issuance of debt securities, stock option schemes, monopoly and antitrust laws, board meetings, annual meetings and other corporate proceedings.
  • Represent clients before various regulators including the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the State Bank of Pakistan, the Board of Investment etc.

  • Advised on constitutionality of Accountability Courts and National Accountability Bureau Ordinance, 1999 and assisted the senior counsel in a land mark case of Khan Asfandyar Wali v. Federation of Pakistan before the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
